Built the core of Iris, a Java and AWS service for accommodation work prioritization and capacity-aware dispatch.

  • Designed a DynamoDB-backed priority queue for roughly 74,000 monthly tasks, with routing partitions and deterministic priority ordering.
  • Integrated with external work-allocation APIs through AWS PrivateLink and CloudAuth, using capacity-gated dispatch to avoid downstream overload.
  • Built Lambda, CDK, DynamoDB, EventBridge, IAM, and VPC infrastructure with unit tests, in-memory fakes, and gamma end-to-end validation.
